This is a text description of Figure 7-13, "Defining Partner LUs".
The text surrounding the figure describes the use of this dialog box. The figure is a screen capture image and contains example data that may not match your system. You must make selections appropriate for your system. The title bar label is "Define a Partner LU 6.2".
The client area* has two tabs. The open tab is labeled "Basic", and the closed tab is labeled "Advanced". The "Basic" tab has three rows of data and a group box with two radio buttons. Below the tab display is a row of four buttons.
The first data line has two edit boxes separated by a period and labeled "Partner LU name:". The first edit box has the entry "ORACLE", and the second has the entry "DB2V51LU". The next data line is a check box (not checked) labeled "Wildcard". The next data line is an edit box labeled "Partner LU alias:" and with the entry "DB2V51LU". Next is the group box labeled "Fully qualified CP name:". The first radio button is labeled "New" and is followed by two edit boxes (both empty) that are separated by a period. The second radio button (selected) is labeled "Existing" and has a drop-down list box with the entry selection "ORACLE.MVS08".
The four buttons are labeled: "OK", "Cancel", "Apply", and "Help".
