5 Oracle Enterprise Manager Licensed Management Connectors

Enterprise Manager 10g Release 3 delivers Management Connectors to enable bi-directional integration between Enterprise Manager and other management tools and help desk systems. By seamlessly integrating different tools within the IT environment, organizations can streamline key support processes, consolidate monitoring information in their tool of choice, reduce the total cost of ownership, and perform cross-platform diagnostics and root cause analysis.

Enterprise Manager Management Connector for Remedy Help Desk

The Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control Management Connector for Remedy Help Desk provides seamless integration between Enterprise Manager and Remedy, allowing customers to further streamline their support processes and improve operational efficiencies, and facilitate compliance with ITIL Service and Support processes.

The Management Connector for Remedy Service Desk enables administrators to open service requests automatically or manually in response to Enterprise Manager alerts. After the service request has been created, Enterprise Manager automatically keeps track of the request ID and updates the Remedy system every time the alert state changes. Additionally, in-context launch of Enterprise Manager from Remedy and vice versa is supported, thereby improving support workflow and streamlining problem resolution.
