The following text describes the Failover Confirmation page in Enterprise Manager.

To transition the standby database into the primary role, click the Failover button on the Data Guard Overview page.

This screen shot gives you a brief description of failover and the consequences of that operation. You can perform a Complete failover or an Immediate failover. Both of these failover options are described on this screen shot.

At this time, you can terminate or proceed with the failover operation by clicking No or Yes. This scenario assumes that you want to proceed with the failover operation.
